Join Magali and Alexandra from August 26th to September 2nd 2023, for a week in Puglia, a corner of Italy which incapsulate the ancient wild and native soul in the Salento, between ancestral rites, the emerald green of the sea, the parched trees beyond the stone walls, wide sea-coasts with olive trees, watched by bold votive spires and gauzy Baroque façades…

Her yoga journey started during her pregnancy, in 2007. She was amazed at how tyoga was giving her the ability to grow into a more compassionate, strong and balanced human being. It seemed natural that the next step would be to share her passion with others, so with this in mind I enrolled in a 100H Anusara Immersion course in Bruxelles, under the guidance of Jayendra Hanley. In 2014 she stepped out of the world of business to become a Jivamukti Yoga Teacher. She completed her 300 hour Jivamukti Teacher Training in India in early 2015. SALENTO is that portion of Italian land where the West meets the East, point of
fusion among ancient civilizations of the Medi- terranean; an earth to be discovered, kissed by the sun and by a crystalline sea. Salento is a coffer rich of inestimable treasures: medieval white stone villages built perpendicularly to the sea, innumerable evidences of ancient civiliza- tion, country churches, Romanesque Cathe- drals, monumental Basilicas, »federician« castles, archaeological areas (dolmen, menhir), uncontaminated oases, millenary olive groves, park and sea reserves, splendid carsic caves, suggestive and unique »Trulli« houses, the Baroque art, sacred and pagan rites, local fairs, feasts, perfumes and tastes and the deli- ciousness of an authentic and genuine kitchen.
»Yoga in Salento«, our location, is immersed in the magical beauty and nature of Salento where the sun is strong, the coastline is wild, the sea is crystal clear and the traditional local Pizzica music & dance are contagious.

Agricola Samadhi is a last generation organic farmhouse located in southern Puglia in the heart of Salento in the Grecia Salentina countryside right in the heart of Zollino, just a few steps from the quaint country train station.
Immersed in the fascinating and authentic atmosphere of Puglia, the Agricola Samadhi farmhouse enjoys a strategic location to dis- cover Salento, just 10 minutes from Lecce and 20 minutes from the most beautiful beaches on the Ionic and Adriatic Seas.
The rooms are located on the large estate, divided into three apartments and the main building with a portico that was completed in July 2011 that overlook the antique villa.
Agricola Samadhi is mixing tradition and innovation both with its offerings and form: two elegant antique buildings from the early 20th century are near recently renovated buildings, surrounded by a green park, immersed in the sound of the wind between the magnificent fronds of the palms and the song of the birds and the hum of the cicadas.
Decide whether to relax along the edge of our large, fresh pool, enjoy an Ayurvedic treatment, a Thai or Shiatzu massage, enjoy the wind caressing the fronds of the palms as you relax in a hammock, walk the 10 hectares of the property or go discover Salento: there’s time for nature walks, artistic excursions, trekking, bicycle tours, horseback riding and sails!

Saturday 10/12/2022 10:00-13:00: Pranayama workshop with Petros Haffenrichter (55€)

It's seriously not serious. But a dance with life.
Athāsane drdhe yogī vaśī hitamitāśanah Ghurūpadishtamārghena prānāyāmānsamabhyaset
Posture becoming established, the yogin, master of himself, eating salutary and moderate food, should practise Prânâyâma, as instructed by the teacher.
HYP, Swami Swatmarama

Life is force. Prana, we can hear it with and in us: The single note drone represents the breath of life. The continuous, eternal breath of GOD, which is underneath all life, hummed or sung as the syllable OM and in all the voices of all beings, winds and waves. The sound moves at the speed that the sun emerges from the horizon. Then melody appears, this music is the seed for the day. The energy involved is the energy of patience, the concept of receiving and giving back to others. To gather strength by meditation on the rising of the sun, with the sun a kin to the inner heart of all life.

Please join me on a 3-hour dive into the subtle world of prana & pranayama.
Why ?
When we are engaging in an environment that stimulates our finer awareness on a sensual level, we surely experience a path of insight that leads from gross to subtle with subtle not being less clear or potent. In contrary, if we emphasise the possibility of a deeper, yet finer feeling of reality it provides an infinite journey into our own potential.
This is a human experience on all levels, if you train your sense of smell you could name the components of earth and surroundings in which a certain fruit grew. You could smell, if the conditions where dry or humid and of course much more.
This is true for all of our senses and the process of experience, which if taken as a journey is infinite, what music lies in the spheres which we are not ready or trained to listen ? What light is there that we can't see because we are bound to a world of visual stereotypes on 10 inches in front of your face? What depth of scents, tastes and touch are we lacking as we are caught in a culture of high-dose-dopamine-penetration that doesn't leave space for everything that is beyond the gross - high - intensity - level of nonstop-emergencies.
The culture, that has no corresponding practice to balance those modes, to translate and transform those energies in a way conducive to some sort of awakening is bound to a mere intellectual interpretation of reality - because feeling, sensuality, subtlety, patience and clarity are missing. In this reality the mind is a "computer" and the body a "machine". The intricate magic of life broken down to categories, all this with according (evidence based) identity.
But throughout time, some beings pierced through that kind of matrix, and out of compassion left clear advice of how to sequence one's life in order to become aware of the forces the are at work and to which we belong, as all life does. The sequence provided, included a path of how to conduct one's individual, communal, material life to start with and further how to safely establish an environment in which realisation, the dawn of a dancing, universal consciousness can happen. This is not an achievement, but the groundwork we have to do as humans so we understand who we really are and what our purpose is in this great play. Which is not becoming more like machines, that's for sure, even if that's the trend in a culture unaware of it's divine nature and an according humility towards that.
The sequence:

Saturday 10/12/22 17:00-18:30: Jivamukti Open with Petros Haffenrichter (25€)

Whether you’re a beginner, deciphering the difference between vrksasana (tree) and sirshasana (heads advanced yogi who can put both feet behind their head, the Jivamukti Open class welcomes you, as it practitioners of all levels.

You work at your own pace, following the teacher’s verbal as well as hands-on guidance. Asana options will be provided for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. A typical Open class incorporates the five tenets of Jivamukti Yoga: shastra (scripture), bhakti (devotion), ahimsa (kindness), nada (music) and dhyana (meditation) by presenting classical yoga teachings as relevant to one’s life on and off the mat, drawn from the Focus of the Month essay, supported by chanting, breath awareness, flowing vinyasa sequences, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, relaxation and meditation. All Open classes include 14 points: asanas, meditation and spiritual teachings- in a sequence creatively designed by the teacher. The class is called »Open« because it is open and suitable to all levels of practitioner. Even so, beginning level students should know that there will not be much detailed »how to do« descriptions; for that a student is advised to attend a Basic class.

Saturday 10/12/22 19:00-20:00: Kirtan with Petros Haffenrichter (20€)

Music is something moving, proof of the Greek quote "panta rei - always flowing. When further ingredients are devotion and prensence, magic can happen, something that has been described by the yogis as "ananda - bliss".

This state is nothing far-off, fixated or framed. It is the state, when intuition, strength and spirit harmonize in the now. Harmony is the foundation of music, so we come together to spontaniously experience, what the word itself actually describes: Harmony (greek: armonia: to bring together; the union of opposites to one whole). So the greek root of the word, that describes the union of opposites is nothing other than something very familiar to us: Yoga.

Sound Through the Chakras – A Workshop Series: THE SACRAL with Federica Faber
20th of November from 14.30 to 16.30

Join the Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls and Federica, Reiki Master teacher and sound therapist, for this second workshop in the chakra balancing series. Over the coming months, we will go on a musical journey to release, heal, balance and strengthen each chakra. Each workshop will focus on a specific chakra and we will explore what it means to have this energy center in balance. The magical vibrations of the Singing Bowls will help support us, along with guided meditations, and energy exercises.

This second workshop continues our upwards chakra journey, focusing on the sacral, svadhisthana, chakra.
After having learned the wisdom and great strength we can find in grounding, we are going to learn about the importance of being soft and adaptable, like water. The sacral is our center of amazing creativity, sexuality and reproductive powers, and joy.
Just like water, our emotions can be soft and peaceful like a lake, or they can be passionate and powerful like a waterfall. Our power stands in being able to fully accept, navigate and live each one.
This busy modern world can lead us to seeing our emotions, our sexuality, and our creativity, as unwelcome distractions. But, our real power stands with our absolute freedom of expression both of our emotions, and our sexuality. When we are ourselves unapologetically, we can find true joy.

An unbalanced sacral chakra leads to very common physical problems like slow digestion, bloating, fertility issues, emotional shutdown, disconnect, creative blocks, lower back pain, chronic UTIs, low libido and painful periods. The sacral chakra is also the center of self love and respect, allowing us to have healthy boundaries with our partners, our friends, coworkers and in life. Out of balance, we are attracted to codependent relationships, toxic friendships, and more.

This workshop will leave you feeling more empowered and in tune with your emotions. Learn how to welcome emotions and how to let them go. Together, we will try and make your body feel more vibrant and at the same time, bring it any needed healing.

Price: 45€
